BoringUI themes

The apps you use every day, rebuilt in BoringUI.

Scoped reconstructions of real product shells, built from the same components, tokens, and motion as the rest of the library. Each theme follows the site's light or dark setting, and the Claude palette can also be worn site-wide from the settings panel.

How a theme is built

01

Scoped by default

One wrapper class carries the reconstruction's palette, typography, and resets. The same palette can be worn site-wide from Make them yours.

02

Light and dark follow the site

A theme resolves its colors from the same switch as the rest of BoringUI, including the system preference.

03

Same parts, different clothes

Buttons, menus, and motion are the components you already install. Only the tokens and chrome change.
